Tracing your shadows. Using a needle and thread to retrace pages from my father’s journal, I enter into a conversation between my own memories and those left for me. The words I bind fill the gaps in my own memory; my father’s recollections becoming entangled with my own. The transparency of silk blurring the threads that sit above with those that rest behind. These words no longer legible, I am left to rely on the memories I formed in the process of tracing the marks left behind.
