The colour described to me by my father, described to him by his: the colour of the setting sun. Temporal in nature, a shade that is never static and in continuous flux. It’s a colour that responds to site, to perception. This two-channel video, projected onto a thick blanket of fog, fills my field of vision. Never having met my grandfather and never having seen the sky in the same place at the same time, I will never know the shade he refers to, I can only imagine.
